3/31 Statewide Sustainable Biodiesel Meeting [Mar. 18th, 2007|09:43 pm]
Biodiesel in California

It's been a while since we've all gotten together in person to share what we're working on, how we can coordinate our efforts so we're not working in isolation, and how we can have a broader impact.

The Biodiesel Council of California (BCC) invites you to a statewide gathering to discuss moving sustainable biodiesel forward in our state:

When: Saturday, March 31, 2007
Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: 1940 Zinfandel Dr., Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
(12 miles from the State Capitol)

Topics to be discussed include:

**Review of the BCC's 2007 goals and progress

**Speaker from BALLE (http://www.livingeconomies.org/ ) on Local Living Economies and Biodiesel

**Round-table discussion: How does the BCC support your local efforts to have a broader impact? How can you support the BCC to support these efforts? Where do we go from here to promote sustainable biodiesel in California?

**Organizational structure discussion: What we are, how to best move forward with what we've got.

Please RSVP to Spike Lewis (mr1spike@yahoo.com) if you are interested in attending. Thanks!

This statewide get together will be followed by a quarterly meeting of the BCC Advisory Council. While the Advisory Council meeting is open only to BCC members, all California biodiesel stakeholders are encouraged to join and attend.

The Biodiesel Council of California (http://www.biodieselcouncil.org/ ) is an alliance of consumers, distributors, and producers for sustainable B100. The BCC's mission is to inspire socially, economically, and ecologically sustainable
development of the biodiesel industry in California by educating and organizing the public, by advocating for governmental acceptance of neat biodiesel, and by developing and protecting the public biodiesel supply. The BCC is a project of the 501(c)3 Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE -- http://www.saveourplanet.org/ )
